2008 BMW 118d
Will the 118d find a home in the U.S. in the future? This compact BMW 1 series puts out lower emissions then the Prius hybrid. Its M47 4 cylinder Diesel Produces 141hp 220ft-lbs of torque, and averages around 50 mpg. It was also awarded the ‘ World green car award’. This car has one problem, not for sale in the U.S. What we know for sure is that the 1 series is coming to the states but it is the 135i coupe and convertible. This car has two problems, it’s not a Diesel and, Car & Driver and thetruthaboutcars.com think the car is over priced. I’m optimistic that BMW will bring this car to the states, It will be competing with the A3 1.9 TDIe and the Volvo C30 Diesel. I’ll do same specific entries on these cars in the future.
