Ford has anounced a 4.4 liter Diesel for the 2009-2010 F150 and Possibly the expedition. Ford wants to be the first of the big three to get their 1/2 Ton Diesels on the Dealerships. Expect the engine to produce around 330 horsepower and 520 lb.-ft of torque. Compare that with the 2008 Ford SuperDuty 6.3 PowerStroke at 350 horsepower 650lb-ft of torque, That’s pretty impressive power. This is great news for Ford Diesel fans. Rumors and promises for a F150 with a diesel option have been floating around for a while. Let’s hope Ford can get this truck on the road soon.
