2010 Duramax Diesel V8 4.5L
This new Duramax will be under the hood of General Motors half ton Trucks SUVs. GM is hoping it produces around 310hp and 520 lb-ft of torque which puts it right up there with the baby Powerstroke in the 2009 F-150. This new engine has a very interesting design that was built from the ground up. It also uses the now industry standard common-rail injection. Something however that is not normal is it’s absence of a intake manifold.
